Identifying Two-dimensional Shapes

The student must be able to identify two-dimensional figures, including circles, triangles, rectangles, rhombuses, and hexagons. The students must be able to see that a square is a special rectangle. Students must also be able to explain and justify their mathematical ideas and arguments using formal geometric language.
