T.I.P.S.


Lightbulb

The student must be able to add two or more numbers together to make 10 with or without using concrete objects. Students must be able to use drawings and number sentences to represent these sums of 10.

Example


The teacher told Mark to get 10 linking cubes. Mark took 4 blue cubes and 5 red cubes. Does Mark have the correct amount of linking cubes? Use pictures, words, and number sentences to explain your thinking.
