The student must be able to create a real-world problem situation from a number sentence that involves addition with a sum less than 20 or subtraction of a related fact. They must be able to model and explain their solutions. 

Example


Write a word problem on your paper for each of the following number sentences. Model each problem with a math drawing and explain your solution, thinking, and how you solved each number sentence.
