Students must be able to figure out a quotient using what they know about how multiplication and division are related.
Example
Read the following problem situations (word problems) and use paper if necessary. a) What 3 other equations are in the same fact family as 7 x 9 = 63?
b) Explain how we can use multiplication to find the quotient of 45 divided by 9.
