In Seventh Grade
-
Seventh grade students applied and extended understandings of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to solve problems that involved rational numbers, represented constant rates of change in various forms, solved multi-step problems involving rates, ratios, and percents, represented linear relationships in various forms, and modeled and solved one-variable, one-step equations and inequalities.
In Eighth Grade
-
Students in eighth grade will graph proportional relationships, interpret the unit rate as the slope, use data from a table or graph to determine the slope, identify functions, write an equation in the form y = mx + b, and model and solve one-variable equations on both sides of the equal sign using rational number coefficients and constants.
