Kindergarten students classify and sort a variety of regular and irregular two- and three-dimensional figures, and compare two objects using a common measurable attribute. Students also identify two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional solids and components and attributes of each type of shape and solid.
In First Grade
First grade students will identify two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional solids as well as classify and sort regular and irregular two-dimensional shapes based on attributes. Students will also create two-dimensional figures and shapes by joining figures.
