For this standard, students will be interpreting data as shown in four ways, dot plots, stem-and-leaf plots, histograms, and box plots. For each type of representation, the interpretive questions asked that students might be asked can differ. Typical questions might include finding the mean, median, mode or range, looking for differences between categories in the graph, etc. Since the data will already be represented, students are just looking at the data to make sense of it.
