In Third Grade

  • Third grade students determined the perimeter of a polygon, added and subtracted intervals of time, and determined the appropriate time and tools to use measurements of liquid volume (capacity) or weight.

In Fourth Grade

  • In fourth grade, students will solve problems related to length, intervals of time, liquid volumes, mass, and money as well as identify measurement sizes in metric and customary systems, and convert measurements within the same measurement system.

In Fifth Grade

  • Fifth grade students will represent and solve problems involving perimeter, area, and volume as well as calculate conversions with the customary or metric system. Students will also determine the volume of a rectangular prism, and recognize the volume of one cubic unit.
